Are you in Anguish about the Future?

Jesus does not want us to be.

If you know him, then your future in eternity is sealed.

Death is a release, but chances are that if you are ready, even dying is

not an option - YOU will be taken to GOD!  To be with Him forever!

How can we have such an assurance?

If you are trying to keep rules to show God how good you are, if you

are only eating certain foods, praying the same prayer over and over,

keeping religious holidays and traditions then you are trying to buy

your way into heaven.

We can never
be good enough to earn our way into God's house!

God did all the work to bring us to him, do you think we can justify

our work to compare to that and force God to acknowledge that?

God (Yahweh, Jehovah) created the heavens, created the earth, created

all the life on it and knows the end and the beginning.

And we are going to impress Him with our actions?

Simply put, Jesus said that God did all that work so that we could

respect God's work by believing on the one he sent, His Son.

Believing in Jesus is believing in God, in God's ability to do all this

and to believe that he cared enough to put his DNA, his essence, into

a human form, because he loves us.

Jesus as a manifestation of that Love, showed His Love enough to

die when he had never committed any sin against God.

He was Pure.

When we believe, and we Love like God did and like Jesus did, that

is the connection that makes us one of His children, and a brother

or sister to Jesus the Messiah.  See John 6:29 and Galatians 4:7.

The Bible clearly says that it is not human acts of work or purity, but

Love for God and one another that is the evidence for us.

If you can say that you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, Love others,

and try as best you are able to Love like Jesus Loved, you ought not

have any fear of what man can do to you, because at worst, death will

bring you to our Father.  The ones that do not know Jesus are the ones

that are in precarious danger of eternal burning fire.

In just a little moment, I am going to tell you why I believe that we can

know the most likely time when Jesus will come to take His children

out of the way of Satan's activity.

But first take a look at this way to print or create your own cards to spread

the word about how God wants us to know Him.

** Click the 'Card Download' tab (above) to print Witness handout cards(sample below).

Side 1.  (each card will print a flag background, difficult to see in the example).

Side 2.

Those are the front and back of the first card in the Packet.  They are numbered

1 - 20 and each Packet card is different so one sheet of paper gives 10 different cards!!!
Single cards on the 'Card page'  are 10 cards the same(different on Front and Back)

- 1 sheet gives 10 cards. More cards coming in the month of August!
Leave these cards at bus stops, parks, airports, offer them as a handshake and then walk
away without discussion, let the Holy Spirit work!, Just take the message, be a witness!

In a great prophecy about the future, Jesus says to "be ready" in Matthew 24:44.

Hebrews 10:25 says that we should gather together even more as we see the times

He has shown us that will be close to his coming.

He wants us to know and gives us many clear prophecies about when this time will be.

and may bring unexpected destruction:

Jerusalem's 50th Anniversary in 2017 (50 = number for Spiritual change, Pentecost, Jubilee).

Israel’s 70th Anniversary in 2018( 7= the end of a period, prepare for a new Spiritual period).
The next Spiritual change is the Taking Out of Believers and Sealing of the 144,000 (Rev 7).

Angels of destruction to the earth will come into action after those are sealed.

The 2 specific ways Jesus uses Jerusalem and Israel shows us where we are in the Last days.

Luke 17:24-36 is specifically about the Rapture and destruction at the time of the Rapture.

Many things are said in the Bible to give us comfort that all these things are in God's hand.

We ought not to fear, let those fear who murder, take slaves of others, hate and

scoff at the work of the Living God... they are the ones who inherit the horrible

things that will happen after God takes His children off of this world! (Revelation chapter 8).

So, NOW having confidence that we will not have to be here for the last 7 years, take

comfort, whether death or rapture be our Lot, that "the peace of God, which passes

all understanding, will keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:7.

Generations have passed that have claimed that we are in the Last Days.
What do we have that is different from what they had?

How can we be Sure that WE are in the time of the Last Days?

There are 3 points that I believe reveals the time line of the Last Days.

Talking about the future in Matthew chapter 24, Jesus gives a
a series of prophecies, the events of which we see happening today.

Point 1.  (Matthew 24:32 & 34)

“32  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender,
and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
34  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all
       these things be fulfilled”.

What Jesus is saying, is that the people alive to have seen the “fig tree”
in a young stage and beginning to blossom will have the capability to be
alive to see ALL the Last Days events.

So the last generation of the Church Age begins when we see the
event of the “fig tree” beginning to expand and bloom(verse 32).

What is the “fig tree” that Jesus specifically talks about?
Hosea (a prophet speaking words directly from the Jehovah (God))
gave us God’s own words about how he sees Israel:

“I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the first ripe in
the fig tree at her first time” -  Hosea 9:10.

So the nation of Israel is the “fig tree” in verse 32.

Israel was not a nation in the time of Jesus, it was a land area conquered, owned and
ruled by Rome, prior to that the land had been owned by the Greeks, Persians etc.
Israel would not become a nation again until 1948 when, because of the
genocide by Hitler the Jewish people were given a home – called again, ‘Israel’.

What did Jesus mean when he talked about the ‘fig tree’ (Israel)?

That the generation that sees the “fig tree” existing and growing again could,
within a natural life span, potentially could remain to view his coming to establish
his 1,000 year kingdom (called the Millennium).

It is our generation that he is talking about!  We can live to see His return!

Jesus makes it clear that seeing not just the “fig tree” (Israel as a nation), but seeing an expansion,
as in growth,(“putting forth leaves”) would begin the generation that would not pass away.
As of today, Israel has had only one expansion from it’s original 1948 land allocation.
In June of 1967 in defense of a one month build up of hostile troops surrounding it’s
borders, Israel attacked and gained double the land that she already had.
In 1967 on June 6th or 7th Israel took physical possession of Jerusalem

So since June 1967, we have been watching the events of the Last Generation.
There are many, many more events that Jesus reveals about this time, if we have
ears to listen to what he says.

Point 2.

The prophecy about the “fig tree” in Matthew 24 is re-affirmed by Jesus and even
this time of Israel’s expansion is made perfectly clear in Luke 21:24:

“…Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the
Gentiles be fulfilled”.

“Gentiles” (everyone who is not Jewish), ruled over Jerusalem or destroyed
it from about 750 years before Jesus until that expansion in 1967.
So that’s about 2,700 years of “Gentile” rule.
Today, Jerusalem is a city setting it’s own direction under the nation
of Israel and it’s own local Jewish leadership.

So since 1967 the “times of the gentiles” have been over, and at
the same time started a generation that will see Jesus coming again!

So within the “fig tree” prophecy we have prophecy that specifically
points to the expansion of Israel (the leaves) to include Jerusalem, and
Jerusalem is specifically prophesied by Jesus as being owned again by the
Jews as the
end of the times of the Gentiles.
There is more to this, about the economic growth of Israel but instead of going there
let us acknowledge that we are now very quickly approaching the LAST DAYS
of a generation that was aware of the 1967 event that Jesus prophesied would happen
1,950 years before it happened.

What happens next
will soon take us to a time when One third of the people will die,
one third of the grass and trees will die and one third of the water will become ‘as blood’.
The Bible says that the whole earth will wobble like a drunken man (Isaiah 24:19-23).

You really do not want to be on the earth for that.

How can we be spared from that?  That is a good question.
There is only one way.  We will see how after the next point.

Point 3.

In the Holy Bible, the number 50 is used repetitively to show the beginning of a
new Spiritual period.

Prior to Jesus:
When God’s predicted time to release the Jews from slavery to Egypt came, God killed
the firstborn sons of the families of Egypt (even Pharaoh’s own son) to get Pharaoh to
release the Jews under the leadership of Moses.  God spared or ‘passed over’ the firstborn
sons of the Jews, so since that time this act by God that Jews and Christians celebrate is called
the ‘Passover’.  We celebrate that just before Easter.

50 days after that event of sparing the firstborn sons of Israel (the Passover), God gave Moses
the 10 commandments, which the Jews call the ‘Law’.

The ‘Law’ was a new Spiritual Period because it showed clearly what God expected if a person
wanted to be judged by their works.

After Jesus:

Jesus, who died many years later on the same day the Passover is celebrated, told his disciples to
wait for another Spiritual Period to begin – which it did, exactly 50 days  after Jesus died, on the
exact day that earlier Moses received the 10 commandments from God.

This is how that new Spiritual Period began: “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a
rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.  And there appeared unto them
cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.  And they were all filled with the
Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues…” (Acts 2:1-4).

We see again that 50 is the number for bringing in a new Spiritual period.
In point 2 we saw that the ‘times” of the gentiles would be over when Jerusalem
in 1967 was once again owned by Jews.
Why didn’t something happen on the 50th day after that event?

In the Bible, times can be seen as Jewish times or Gentile times.  Once the times of the Gentiles
ended (Luke 21:24) prophetic timelines relate back to the prophecy given to Israel and
they are based in years instead of days.

Jehovah’s prophet Daniel, in chapter 9:24 says that Israel will have 490 years
(Seventy weeks where each day equals 1 year) specifically given to the Jews,
for specific events that will happen to Israel until Jesus comes to set up His kingdom.

When Jesus came and opened the kingdom of God to everyone in 30AD(Mt 4:17),
the keeping of time against those 490 years stopped.
But when Jesus' prophecy that the times of the Gentiles were over
(fulfilled when Jerusalem was captured by Israel in 1967) that timing in years
has started again.
Which takes us back to the number 50.

June 2017 will be the 50th anniversary of Jerusalem’s re-association under the nation Israel.
This should bring in a new Spiritual Period.

The following year (2018) will be the 70th anniversary of Israel becoming a nation.
I believe that there will be a lot of activity in the World at that time.

Revelation chapter 7 in the Holy Bible talks about God sealing 144,000 males to become his
witness for the last 7 years (the time during which those one third of vegetation, fish,
and our galaxy (see Revelation 8:7-12) will be destroyed.

Jesus tells the story in Matthew 24: 37 about the suddenness of a destruction that
relates to the suddenness of the destruction in Noah's time.
But this time there is an event in Matthew 24:27 where lightning comes to take away Believers
before this destruction. We know this is not Jesus coming for the Millennium because the
"sign" of His coming appears in Matthew 24:30 after the "tribulation of those days" which is after
Believers are taken and
just before his arrival to set up his kingdom on earth.

If you are not a Believer - You will miss being taken away from the turmoil to come.
And it will be a Great turmoil, so that every life will be in jeopardy.

Jesus prophesied this in Luke 21:35-36 when he said “For as a snare shall it come on all

them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. (36) Watch ye therefore, and pray always,

that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to

stand before the Son of man”.

The sealing of the 144,000 cannot begin until the current group of Believers in Jesus Christ
are removed.

Get ready now, because if you are not already ready, it will come too quickly to adequately respond.

Matthew 24: 50 - 51 “The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and

in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the

hypocrites: there shall be  weeping and gnashing of teeth.”.

That does not sound very pleasant does it?

You can agree with God right now that your Life is not what he wants it to be, and it’s not what you

want it to be either.  Dissatisfaction, strife, repeating the same crummy processes.  You can change

 your Heart right now.
Stop now and ask Jesus to come into your heart, that you accept the forgiveness

that he gave his life for and that you commit to a new direction for your life, to become
His disciple and for Grace to Love as Jesus loved and to be one of His people who are
worthy to escape the wrath to come.

Worthy because of God's Love toward us, not because of our works or feeling of Pride.

Say, and walk in those words and you are GUARENTEED forgiveness and a place of total

acceptance in God’s eternal family!

Interestingly, what I write is for the comfort of believers(seeing events in advance will lead us
to be diligent and secure in our faith), but at the same time many unsaved people may see things
coming, that can be avoided, and will believe in Jesus to save them from the destruction to come.
I Hope you prayer that prayer.

This next section gets into why I believe that the sudden destruction that I believe is
coming in 2017 will so severely impact the world.

We see in Revelation chapter 18, a place being destroyed!

In light of the prophecies that show Israel and surrounding countries as being the central focus

of the Last Days it does not seem that this place that is destroyed would be in Europe or the Middle East.

Revelation 18 also shows that because merchants(sellers) are devastated at this destruction,

the place that is destroyed must be a BUYER of the marketed goods produced in other places.

That would mean that the economy of that BUYING place was good and that the economic stability

of that place was stabilizing the nations that the seller merchants are from.

Since we are close to the end of the Generation that Jesus said would see all these things,
I cannot see their being time for a new 'Buying' nation to appear so I believe Revelation
chapter 18 is America in 2017.

In Revelation chapter 6 we see the results on the world, from the destruction(whether nuclear or meteoric)

of this place, symbolized as 4 horsemen with these roles:

1.  White horse: - and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

2.  Red horse: - takes peace from the earth that they should kill one another.

3.  Black horse: - food lack - scales weighing food in his hand, a measure of

     wheat for a days wages.

4.     Pale horse: - his name is Death, and Hell followed with him.  And

power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with

     sword, and with hunger.

These 4 horsemen generalize the entire destruction that follows all through the book of Revelation.

They are not sequential, when they start they happen continually on the whole earth in varying degrees

and are reflected in all the plagues that come.

The events above are going to start to happen to the entire world in the next few years.

Timewise, I believe the destruction of the place in Revelation 18 is just prior to and
may be viewed as
the natural causes of the events that the 4 horsemen typify.

America, a pre-destruction?

We have seen Whats going to happen and When it’s going to happen, lets see Where it’s going to happen.

“And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and

the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at

all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy

sorceries were all nations deceived.”  - Revelation 18:23

All of Rev 18 is about the destruction of one limited place.  The entire earth is not destroyed

because those not destroyed in chapter 18 mourn the place that was destroyed.  As said before,

a group of people were told to “come out of her”  before the destruction.  This could not be the

coming of Jesus to set up his kingdom because that ends all things and there would not be

merchants at this times due to the extensive damage to earth by the judgments throughout

Revelation and the battle of Armageddon.

The limited type of destruction talked about in Revelation 18 could easily bring on the effects

that the 4 horsemen produce though.

Revelation 18 describes a group of “great men of the earth”, they were money men themselves,

owners of huge conglomerates, of stock markets that bought and sold everything and made a

profit doing it, other merchants and businesses respected them, and mourn when they are wiped out

 – IN ONE HOUR!  (Rev 18:8)

Could this describe America?

Revelation 18 starts out with the pronouncement in verse 2 that “Babylon the great is fallen”,

we see that the “earth was lightened” and a people were called to “come out of her”.

It does not take a genius to see which country is producing a Gospel “voice”,

(radio, TV, internet), that is silenced in the verse above.

The positive side is that there was a voice coming out, right until the end.

Once that is gone we see suppression, false Christs, false religion etc.

The starkness and reality of the truth that the New generation of the 144,000 will bring

with it is a different age and are specifically the “chosen” from the parable of the workers in Matthew 20:16

In the Revelation18:23 verse above, what was taken out?

The Light.

Jesus said that He is the light of the world in John 9:5.

“Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel” Jesus said,.. so

until this specific time (above) the Light of testimony had been shining.

Once the church is taken out (“come out of her my people”) by the Rapture from this one

particular nation the verse called “in thee” which did have the light coming out of it, there

will no longer be any light in it at all (there will be no more Gospel light in it or coming

out of it, and perhaps even no livable physical environment).

Matthew 21:43 says:  Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you,

and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof”.

That verse was prophecy about America receiving the evangelistic Gospel message and soon it

will come to the point where “the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee”!

Then, I believe that that allocation of the resources to “a nation” to spread the Gospel is

reversed as the Rapture and sudden destruction destroys it to the point that that nation

shall no more have the light in it”.  America as the messenger of the Gospel ceases,

while the original intent of the spreading of the Gospel goes back to Israel through the

sealing of the 144,000 (Rev 7).

Has any nation brought forth more fruit than America?

Think of the Gospel shared, the missionaries sent, the orphanages opened, even the mostly

peaceful society within that our country has had, all based on American Christians being obedient to God.

Note the reference to ‘sorceries’, would that describe things like technology, graphics, CGI interfaced movies,

maximized manhood and womanhood… things that would make other nations want to buy and emulate the

vanities and technological advances (sorceries) of our nation?

What nation, above all nations has advanced those things?

All the writings in Revelation about Babylon being so fantastic and filled with idols…

how could the existing Babylon (which, as we have recently heard is being slightly rebuilt)

become such a world power that the merchants of the earth would weep over her.

Especially with America, Europe and China still in the picture.

We see the nation that gets destroyed is symbolic Babylon, a rich nation with a lot of trade

partners and technology, and those seeing her destruction can stand “far off” (physically distanced, as to be safe).

Haven’t you ever thought about all those Revelation destructions… a third of the trees and grass,

a third of the waters, a third of the people all destroyed, yet it seems that society still continues

up until armies are raised at the battle of Armageddon to fight.  Could it be that all those one third

destructions are located in one area, away from Europe and the Middle East?

Let’s look at two verses to get a better understanding of what I believe to be a prediction

of America and see how this matches Revelation chapter 18.

Romans 10:18 - 19 “ But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth,

and their words unto the ends of the world.  But I say, Did not Israel know?  First Moses saith,

I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you”.

This is a prediction of a nation that can take their sound & words to all the earth, not just at the start

of a technological period (like Marconi and the invention of the radio) but at the end of a

development cycle, when the existing technology AND distribution, at THAT TIME, “their sound”

would cover the entire earth.

American radio, television and movies are at that point more than any other.

And specifically those words will provoke Israel, because, I believe, those words

going to all the earth will be about Jesus, who was rejected by Israel.

And the verse is referring to a nation that was not a nation at the time this was

written (“them that are no people”) or a ‘melting pot’ nation.

So we can see that America would fit in three points (1) a merchant nation,

(2) a nation that can take their message (as American Christian stations do) around the world, and

(3) that message would not be appealing to Israel.

I think that the way liberal thinking has made America today, to comment on the

“foolish nation” aspect of the verse would be redundant.

In the bible what is the symbol we associate with Babylon?

The tower… what does a tower in America symbolize – Broadcasting –

their sound went into all the earth”.

As the tower of Babel attempted to reach to the heavens, God confounded their

languages and scattered them upon all the face of the earth…. America represents all

those languages brought together again in a mixing pot – and also transmitted on the

airwaves, ready to be scattered by the rapture.

Could we say that the verse that I believe takes the Gospel from the Jews to America:

“Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given

to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof”(Mt 21:43),

could also apply at the end of this Age, only to appoint the Gospel back to Israel?

So America fits a nation that would bring forth fruits of the kingdom of God,

the sound going around the world, and a nation that did not exist when that was predicted.

Another thought on this is what we can see from the timing of the World Empires predicted

in Revelation 17:10: “And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is

not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.  And the beast that was,

and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet;

but receive power as kings one hour with the beast”.

A world empire (America, like the nation who’s merchants were the great men of the earth

from the chapter verse) would be the 7th empire.  It would last a “short space” (destroyed?  How?).

But out of the remains or structure or last leadership of the 7th the 8th Empire the Antichrist would rise.

After Revelation 17 talks about these 8 world kingdoms it goes into a little detail about the 8th

empire (just beginning) but in Revelation chapter 18 it jumps back into specific detail about a

nation that is destroyed.  I believe that Revelation 18 is the detail of the destruction of the short

7th world empire described in Revelation chapter 17.

So we can see that America would fit in six points (1) a merchant nation, (2) a nation shining the light,

(3)  a nation that can take their message  around the world, (4) a message not be appealing to Israel,

(5) a nation that did not exist at that time (6) a nation with a big imprint but a short history.

Can see that the timeframe of the rapture IS something God wants us to see and prepare for.

And if you can look at the information pertaining to the date of the rapture and see 2017 as the

best timing then you can see the evidence that America could be the nation that the Bible talks about

as being suddenly destroyed…. then futuristically you can understand a lot.

Then we can move on to the next question which is, can we see HOW America

will be destroyed at the same time as the rapture.

Let’s focus in on the instant of the rapture.

Jesus says that some will be sleeping and some will be working (Mt 24:40-41, Luke 17:34-36).

This shows that the rapture will be world wide, while we work in America, others are sleeping in Asia.

But there is another warning in Luke, just a little before Jesus talks about the ‘ones being taken and the ones being left’.

Here is the context:

Luke 17:27 “They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage,

until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold,

they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it

rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed”.

I am going to stop here just for a second… notice what happens in each of these events,

life is going on as normal then there is a sudden destruction.

In Noah’s day the Luke verse above says that a flood came and destroyed them all.

But, in the day Lot went out of Sodom, “it rained fire and brimstoneon a specific place.

Jesus says it’s going to happen in that same manner

in the day when the Son of man  is revealed”!  Destruction on a specific place.

God has said that the earth will never be flooded again but is Jesus telling us that

on the day the Rapture happens – it will rain fire and brimstone?

That seems to fit in with a one third destruction, in one hour, if that is true,

perhaps many won’t even notice that there has been a rapture?

But here is an even bigger point, since Jesus is telling us that on that day there will be fire

and brimstone, he begins to tell us what to do as we see it coming: (Luke 17)

31  “In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house,

let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

 32  Remember Lot's wife.

33  Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it”.

The verses above are different from the ones in Matthew 24:16 where Jesus says those in

Judea should flee to the mountains (that was about the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D

.(how do you flee Fire & Brimstone?)).

The verses 31 to 33 (above) are about not looking back, and not fleeing,

but being ready to lose our lives, to preserve our lives in God!

THIS IS ABOUT PREPARING FOR THE RAPTURE and the very next verse takes us there…(Luke 17)

34 “I tell you, in that night there shall be two in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

35 Two shall be working together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

36 Two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them,

Wheresoever the body is, there will the eagles be gathered together”.

Now we can see the ‘Eagle and Body” verse in the context of the

‘body’ of believers being taken from the earth,  but the word

“carcase” is used  in the comparative verse in Mt 24:28 where physical

bodies are destroyed at the same time as the rapture.

Revelation 18:8  “Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning,

and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God

who judgeth her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived

deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city!

for in one hour is thy judgment come.”

What if all eternity hangs on our acceptance of God's offer of  Love?

And we reject that and decide to choose our own way, or try to hang on to the old wrong ways

as long as we can.  Isn’t that the same rebellion against God that Satan had.

We can’t come to God anytime WE choose (John 6:65).

It has to be in response to the Holy Spirit calling us.

But if you feel he is talking to you now

You can say right now “I choose Jesus and accept his payment for my sins and I AM

going to get off this path of destruction right now and become a follower of the truth

in Jesus because Jesus said  that “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only

begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world

through him might be saved”  and I accept that".  (John 3:16-17)

If you prayed that prayer then you have a promise –

that he will never leave you or forsake you !  (Hebrews 13:5)

Fellow servant, Do what Jesus did and also told us to do:

“…If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me” - Mt 16:24.

What did Jesus deny himself?  He denied himself just about everything.

But it’s not in the ‘what’ He denied himself, it’s about the ‘act of self denial’.

In other words, make it a practice to say ‘No’ to the things you know are wrong.

Let us begin to live according to the Spirit, Galatians 2:20 says:

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:

and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,

who loved me, and gave himself for me

Now is the time to change!

If you prayed, then Ephesians 1:13  says that you will be sealed for God:

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:

in whom also after that ye believed,ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise “.

The resurrection of Jesus from the dead, shows God’s acknowledgement of that payment for our sin

and promises us the same Eternal Life that Jesus had when he said “I am he that liveth, and was dead;

and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death”.  Revelation 1:18

What happens on the earth at this time?

Revelation 17:10-12  “And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other

is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.  And the beast that was,

and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.  And the ten horns

which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings

one hour with the beast”.

John was writing under Roman rule so Rome would be the 6th Empire,

the “and one is” from the verse above.  But the 7th king (World Empire)

lasts just a “short space”.

What other world empire has there been since Rome that has lasted only a short time but

could be clearly seen as a World Empire (China & Europe have a long standing history).

And what other nation has the traits of ‘bearing fruit’, having the light of the gospel, and

being a ‘buying’ nation whose destruction would impact the world drastically?

Looking at America I can see her currently as a world Empire and in terms of history,

she has not been around a long time so if America is the main part of the Fire & Brimstone

destruction of Luke 17:29, just after a “snare” comes on all the world, that would fit the role

of a nation that historically could be said would “continue a short space”.

Other nations are still around that were former world empires (Italy – Greece etc.) but in this
verse it sounds
to me like when this 7th empire is gone there is no trace left of it’s
lingering influence

So, could America be the nation that is destroyed at the time of the rapture?

You will have to think about that for yourself, but there are many other arguments for

that idea that we have not even touched upon – take a look at Isaiah chapter 18 for instance,

find others, let the Holy Spirit guide you.

The 8th Empire will be the one that breaks in pieces and tears mentioned in Daniel 7:7 and also seen in detail

in Revelation chapter 13, but chronologically I believe that the rapture and then the destruction in Revelation

chapter 18 will happen before that 8th Empire is revealed.

I believe Jesus really meant it in Luke 16:16 when he said that there would
be no official  prophets in the church age
(“The law and the prophets were
until John”),  but Jesus said in Matthew 13:52 that our treasure is to be
instructed about the kingdom of heaven” and that “secrets” would be revealed,
not through prophecies but through understanding his parables (Matthew 13:35).

The flow of the Bible is beautiful in the sequence where Jesus introduces parables.
Jesus is accused of being used by Satan in Matthew chapter 12,

in chapter 13 he begins speaking in parables and then says that this is because
he does not want the religious leaders who accused him to hear about the kingdom,
then he says that “secrets” will be known through parables and that those who are
“instructed” will have treasures to reveal.

In all the epistles I do not see Jesus saying that there will be any future prophets at all….
Through “instruction” and “dreams” Joel said (2:28) we would be aware that we are in
the last days
and the actions we need to take toward that end.
